AA | FF STUDIO is an inter-scalar brainchild of the two creative spirits who operate their practice between the East and West Coasts. The studio embraces a wide range of project types and scales–bridging the conceptual with the practical, the artistic with infrastructural.

Arsalan Afshar is a New York City–based architectural and interior designer whose work bridges cultural heritage and contemporary design. He holds a Master of Architecture II from The Cooper Union. Working fluidly between architecture, interior, objects, and installations, his practice is rooted in drawing-driven ideation, material experimentation, and sculptural thinking.

Farnoosh Farmer is a Los Angeles-based architectural and urban designer whose work blends artistic sensitivity and critical engagement with conventional frameworks. She holds a Master of Architecture II from The Cooper Union. Her works extend across scales, from micro artistic explorations to design strategies. She currently serves as the President of the Los Angeles Forum for Architecture and Urban Design.

Allied by a shared interest in cultural narratives and material experimentations, Arsalan and Farnoosh lead a bi-coastal practice grounded in the complexities of practical conditions, yet open to playful explorations. Their studio’s work spans internationally, with projects across the United States, Europe, and Asia.
